Star Trek Prius, Star Trek Halloween
A brief interuption in my posts about Rhinebeck.
I mentioned that we all piled into Willie's Prius on Friday night to go out to dinner. Willie's Prius is a bit special, aside from being a hybrid, I mean. Willie has always been a Trekkie and now he gets to pilot a Enterprise shuttle.
I present Willie's Prius in its guise as Star Fleet shuttle.
As you can see Willie has had some customizing done. He has added blue lights under the car as well.
And from the inside he has it set up so he can add sound effects.

And in synchronicity, Bill's work group all decided to dress up in Star Trek outfits for Halloween. The last time I made a Star Fleet uniform, it was for Lydia who wanted to be Tasha Yar when she was 8 or 9. That was quite a while ago. There were quite a few Star Trek pattern available then. Now there are none. Fortunately BIll wanted to be Scotty fromt he Original show and that is an easy pattern. We bought a pajama top pattern and I altered it by changing the nexk line. He wore black Jeans and used the Next Gen communicator pin I still had from Lydia's costume.
