First, for Ellen, here are 2 pictures of me with straight hair.
This is the side view. Notice that my hair is actually blowing in the wind, That is a new experience for me.
Here I am from the back. My hair appears longer now that it is straight. It is REALLY straight right now, but that is in part due to the straightening iron they used on my hair after everything else was done. I should get a little wave back after I wash my hair.
It is nice to wake up in the morning and the hair brush just glides through the hair rather than fighting with all the snarls caused by the curls and kinks in my hair.
I have to braid a little differently now that the hair is smooth. It has more a a tendency to want to slip out of the braid.
Here I am dressed to go out to the barn to ride. I rode in a clinic yesterday and today. I was suppose to ride UtahB but yesterday the horses were all squirrelly, so Marieke thought I would be better off on Winston. I rode Winston yesterday and today. Then I was going to ride Utah, until we discovered that he had thrown a shoe. No ride there.
Instead I got to ride one of the stallions. Van GoghB. First I rode on the lunge line and then off the lunge line.
I finished off my riding by riding Pansy. I worked on some of the things I learned in my lessons.
I am looking forward to June when I will be riding Marieke's horses more often, as I will have more time.
Hope you had a great Mother's Day.
So... a GOOD hair day? *chuckle*
